Location: The Museum is located at the southwest corner of Beaver Stadium opposite the Bryce Jordan Center (BJC). A long canopy leading from Curtain Road marks the Museum entrance.
Parking: Weekday parking is available in the metered lot between the Museum and the BJC. Weekend parking is free in the Beaver Stadium lots except when special events are occurring at the stadium or BJC.

Hours: Monday through Friday 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Hours: We are currently open by appointment only, as the public space is in the midst of renovation. Check our website for more details.
Location: Headhouse III is located on Curtin Road on the University Park Campus about halfway between Shortlidge and Bigler Roads. The museum is across the street from the new Food Science Building and Berkey Creamery.

Matson Museum of Anthropology
Hours: Monday through Thursday, 11:00 a..m. to 4:00 p.m.; Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Location: Museum exhibits are housed in the Carpenter Building in the northwest corner of Penn State’s University Park campus between the Nittany Lion Shrine, the Nittany Lion Inn, and the Nittany Parking Deck. To reach the museum, take the elevator to the second floor.

Palmer Museum of Art

Parking: Most campus parking lots are open for free visitor parking on weekends. Lots are restricted Monday through Friday. Day permits may be purchased at the University Parking Office in Eisenhower Parking Deck on Shortlidge Road, at campus kiosks, or at the Centre County Convention & Visitors Bureauon Park Avenue, next to Beaver Stadium. Pasto Agricultural Museum
Open every Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 2pm, from mid-March through mid-December. Location: The museum is located at the Russell E. Larson Research Center at Rock Springs and Ag Progress Days site, nine miles southwest of State College on Route 45.

The Arboretum at Penn State
Hours: The gardens are open to the public every day from dawn until dusk, and there is no admission charge.
Location: The H.O. Smith Botanic Gardens in the Arboretum are adjacent to the University Park campus near the intersection of Park Avenue and Bigler Road. The entrance to the parking lot is on Bigler Road, facing the parking lot for the Lewis Katz Building which houses the Dickinson School of Law.
Shaver’s Creek Environmental Center
Hours: Mid-February through mid-December, 10:00 a.m–5:00 p.m. (Closed Thanksgiving Day)
Location: Penn State’s nature center is located 12 miles from State College, within Penn State’s 7,000 acre Stone Valley Forest and 700 acre Stone Valley Recreation Area on the shore of Lake Perez. Follow Route 26 from State College to Pine Grove Mills; turn left at the blinking light to stay on Rte. 26 over Tussey Ridge into Huntingdon County. On the other side of the mountain, turn right onto Charter Oak Road, and follow for 1.7 miles. Turn left on Red Rose Road, and after .3 miles, bear right onto Discovery Road.
